The house is located across the street from the best white sand beach, and just 52 miles South of Manila Airport.

Completed in 2016, the house has been constructed in Modern Asian style to the highest standard, with a view to being easy to maintain and allowing it to remain unoccupied for long periods of time.

There are 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in total, split between the main house (4 bedrooms) and self-contained Granny Annex (2 bedrooms). The 2 main bathrooms are fitted with large shower enclosures, twin basins and a bidet.

The Annex has its own kitchen, while the main kitchen continues to an outdoor, dirty kitchen. Both kitchens have electric ovens and induction hobs (to prevent heat build-up in the house). 

There is a gazebo on the rear terrace for outdoor dining.

There is hot and cold water supply to mixer-type faucets throughout.

Every room has air-conditioning and ceiling fans. All the doors have transom windows over, to enable the free flow of air around the house – an idea that comes from Singapore.

There are retractable flyscreens on the windows throughout.

All of the floors are tiled, as are most of the walls, both inside and outside the house, to alleviate the need for constant repainting. The roof is clay tiles.

There are 2 rings of termite protection piping around and underneath the house. Fresh poison is pumped in under pressure every 5 years to renew protection.

Much of the fixtures and fittings were imported from the UK, but all the woodwork and trim is of unstained local hardwood (no filler was used anywhere).
